Best type of flour for cookies and bars
Plain Flour – commonly used in cookies and bars and makes the best cookies.
Bread Flour – suitable for cookies and bars, but the high protein content will result in slightly tougher cookies and bars.
Cake Flour – cookies and bars made with this flour will be very delicate and fragile and may fall apart.
Self-Raising Flour – For best recipe, only use this flour when the recipe calls for.
Corn Flour – results in tender cookies that have a very fine and compact texture.
