Essentials of Baking

Just place an online order for this book, first time ordering from this merchant, hope the book will be delivered!

I like William Sonoma’s book, very beautiful pictures and the pictorial guide is very helpful. I took a glimpse of the other book – Frostings & Fillings and is immediately captivated by it.

And my to-buy list is getting longer and longer …

Update
———-
The online merchant just email me to say the book is not available till 2 weeks later and ask if I want to cancel my order, which I’m more than happy to do so 😛

Will pop by Kino tomorrow (Thanks to Cadenze for the info) and utilise the voucher. Love the feeling of hand carrying books home 🙂

And work is picking up once again, at least till end May. I hope the schedules are better control and not too many late nights. I wanted so much to bake and make a cheesecake these 2 nights but am too tired to do so. May also need to travel to Shenzhen in about 3 weeks time, probably my last time there to wrap up everything. And the question is if I shld drop by HK for a 3D2N holiday? Shanghai Street is the place where a lot of bakewares are available!

Update 2
———–
I called Kino to confirm before going down and realise there isn’t any 30% off so am back with the online merchant *roll eyes*.

Elyn, this book is on 30% discount at Kinokuniya, if my memory didn’t fail me. I was there on Monday and was complaining to my hubby because I bought the book last year at the full price.

I hope you are getting a good price from this merchant.

  2. Elyn says:

Wow, that’s a pretty good discount! I’m paying S$42.85 for the book, believe after the discount Kino is at S$43 but I’ve a Kino voucher to utilise! Wish I have know it earlier and could have went down and buy the book personally 😦

Oh dear I am so sorry Elyn.

I just checked on Kino’s website. Selected books by Wiley are on 30% discount… and the book I saw was Baking at Home with The Culinary Institute of America.

I am so so very sorry for the blunder.

    No worries, Cadenze 🙂
