I did not make another attempt of Macarons since the last round. I kinda think that I dun like them cos it’s way “toooo sweet”. Thought it will be more of another accomplishment rather than enjoying the bakes. There are times when trying something new is to bring oneself a level higher and there are times when it’s to bake becos knowing pple will enjoy them.
Back to these little jewels … had an opportunity to watch a patissier making them and even hands-on to pipe the batter. I just have to say my interest or the enjoyment of eating them has rekindled! They are not sweet at all, the chocolate filling or lemon curd in this case compliment the shell so well! Will want to do it after all the moonies making!
