旺!旺!

pineapple-tarts

I do not have any single bit of pineapple paste left so I can’t bake any more. And I finally have a chance to play with the last bit of dough, trying my hand on doing roses design but it’s so ugly! I can’t seem to get it right. Anyway, till next year again!

After cutting up kgs of butter, opening bags after bags of flour, cracking almost a tray of 30 eggs with several egg whites left in the fridge, hundreds of mini paper cases, rolling hundreds of pineapple fillings and many many containers, I’ve finally complete all the bake sale order and giveaway! It’s very satisfactory to fill up container after container and throughout the process, things get more organise and it’s just like a little cookie factory. You know which is the best way or the fastest way to do certain part of the work. It was such a comfort to work under a chilling weather too, not having to sweat over the oven heat! Having the KitchenAid this year also make a vast difference, it help me to prepare all the dough, whether to just combine or rubbing the flour into the butter, it just work wonder otherwise I can’t imagine doing it manually and drawing up a schedule to follow put everything under control.

A big THANK YOU to those who have place order and apologise to some who I have to turn down.

Hi me! You can also do it!!

Hi Youfei, it’s the same method as creaming in. Cut the butter into cubes and add into the flour, stop the machine once you see that it resembles bread crumbs.

Hi Irene, thanks! Happy New Year to you!

  5. You Fei says:
