Mochi Balls!

Mochi Balls

I was given this packet of premix called Mochi Balls which is also called cheese balls! I did a search and saw many HK bloggers have tried it and roughly have an idea how it is. The preparation is relatively easy, rub in butter, add in egg and water and it gives you a piping texture. It was quite fun to pipe them out but I’m afraid I pipe them too small, it’s just one mouthful. I made 2 variations here – normal and green tea for the other half. The texture and taste is quite unusual, I personally do like it but not for my family members thou.

A little more on the texture, it’s like a bread yet chewy inside and has quite a cheesy taste. I’ve half a pack left and would be happy to pass on to those who are interested! The first to leave a comment will get it (limited to Singapore recipient).
