Attended the 17th Food Hotel Asia 2010 held at Singapore Expo, covering the entire floor area – right from Hall 1 to Hall 9 (which is the Max Pavilion)! Just a note that this is a trade event so if you aren’t in this line, the admission fee is S$80.
I had a blast 2 years back attending the event, of course filling up my shopping bag with many silicone moulds. I’m extremely good this year! I only bought a chocolate mould, choose the design I like most and put the rest back. I’m certainly not making enough chocolates to justify another mould :(, I have already 4 on hand and a kg of Valrhona Chocolate Feves from 55% to 72%! Well, I’m happy for my dear friends who got what they have wanted 🙂
Chef in action @ Hall 1 and their favourite tool – KitchenAid! I love how colorful they are when they are line up together. The latest color is Almond Cream and Boysenberry which is really pretty!
Starting with beautiful cakes! It’s definitely a relaxing morning/afternoon spent at the show, surprisingly it wasn’t as crowded as last year.
Beautiful Chocolates!
Very nice chocolates that we had!
wow…u got to see the latest tools. Are the Valrhona choco cheaper than outside?
: )
Hi Irene, they dont do sales there. It’s only for display, only very limited stalls sell their stuff on the last day after 12pm cos they don’t want to bring back.
