Vegetable Pau

Mum is definitely looking forward toward making the pau that she prepared the fillings and cook them by the time I reach home. I halved the recipe and got 12 mini paus, which one could easily take 3 at a go. Mum did the pleating whilst I flatten the dough so in less than 15 mins, everything is ready for the 2nd proofing!

The texture is soft and slightly chewy and fine too. I remember store bought ones are rather coarse so I’m really happy with this! The only complaint from dad and brother is that they are too small!
Char Siew Bao is next!

update ~ I’ve receive lots of emails asking for the bao recipe. Sorry, I’m not sharing this as this is from Valerie Kong’s Pau Making Class. Her lessons are really genuine and affordable so do give her support!
