I’ve not been buying any commercial mooncakes for a few years or since when I started to make my own. Putting aside the point that they are overpriced, S$12-S$15 for one big baked mooncake and I am not really comfortable with the idea that how long they have been made. I also do not know if additional preservatives are added or any other artificial flavourings, while home baked ingredients are still from commercial, we could at least minimise adding any other “chemicals”. Not only you could enjoy the process of home baked, everyone get to eat healthy bakes!
